For many people around the world, but particularly in East Asia they have just celebrated a new year. Many people of East Asian descent celebrate the Lunar New Year. The Lunar New Year is more important to them than the normal New Year’s celebration because it means a time of gathering with family and eating lots of amazingly delicious food. The Lunar New Year is different from the regular New Year because it doesn’t fall on the same day every year. It ranges from January 21st to February 20th.
